Barcelona in 48 Hours
Synopsis
“Barcelona in 48 Hours” is both an impressionistic portrait of a contemporary dance artist and a meditation on movement of the body. Shot in two days in a Barcelona that few people know, this is a film about movement made almost entirely of black-and-white photographs. The film centers on David Zambrano—originally from Venezuela and now living in Amsterdam—who travels non-stop in his career as a choreographer, teacher and dancer. We see a poetic snapshot of his life and work: the creative process, dancing, dealing with immigration police, dreams and daily life.More info is available at the Barcelona in 48 Hours website.
